I have intended to update the website for quite some time but never really had the hours to. No excuses! Just been very busy for the month of July, lots of opportunities opened up and I couldn't let it get away! So if you have been checking in for an update, here it is. Let me start off with the July 19th Euro Coffee & Cars. This wasn't just a regular Coffee & Cars meet, this is Lamborhgini's Night! I mean hundreds of spectators came to see these beautiful combination of art and engineering. A range of classics Lamborghinis from 350GT to the newest Aventador SV! Essentially it was any car enthusiasts, if not Lamborghini fans', dream come to reality.
Second, is Lamborghini Calgary's Charity Drive. They host an annual charity drive dedicated to raise awareness of their chosen charity. This year they have chosen MADD as their beneficiary. This is to raise awareness against driving under the influence no matter what make or model of the vehicle, drivers must be aware of their responsibility. It was a great turn out both attendance and weather. It was a gloomy morning but that didn't stop them from driving to Waterton and back. Besides it was better roads in southern Alberta.
Third, Lamborghini Stampede Breakfast! Yeehaw! Another great turn out for Lamborghin Calgary hosting their first Stampede Breakfast. Who doesn't like sausage, eggs, and hash browns in the moring while pairing it with luxurious and insanely fast cars to view. It doesn't get any better than that especially during the week of the Greatest Show on Earth the Calgary Stampede!
Finally, the Lamborghini & Lobsters Polo Night. I'll be honest shooting sports, least of all Polo, is outside my comfort zone. In all fairness, it was an astounding experience. Not only did I get a change to work with a Tamron 150-600mm lens, which is a beast by the way, I had a great time shooting the Polo match. I might consider sports photography as well if more opportunities rises. The weather may have looked gloomy in the start however in the end it was a great championship match.
After the match was a well deserved dinner, Lobsters! Everyone had fun, conversing, socializing, and talking about the game! The ambiance of the restaurant was really great, it gave the feeling that the guests are truly in the east coast with live music performance to set the mood. The polo game was great, but the food was better!
As you can tell by now, most of these opportunities are with Lamborghini Calgary. I look forward to growing with this prestigious brand!
